Guided tour
A six-step introduction to courses, lectures, recording, markers, review, and asking Dex.
The Guided tour introduces the main learning workflow. Start it from the Help menu, or continue it after creating a new account. You can close or skip it at any time, then replay it from Help.
1. Create a course
Create a course for each class or subject. Courses keep related lectures, files, notes, and assignments together.
2. Start a lecture
Open a course and choose New lecture. Give the lecture a title, then record a live session or add existing materials.
3. Record what matters
Choose a microphone, shared browser tab, or both. Start recording when you are ready; recording never begins automatically.
4. Add a marker
Save a marker for a question or an important moment. A short caption makes the marker easier to recognize when reviewing the lecture.
5. Review your saved moments
Open a completed lecture or the review queue to return to markers, notes, captions, and the matching recording.
6. Ask Dex
Ask Dex about a concept from your course or lecture. Choose the scope that fits your question and check the cited sources in the answer.
To replay the tour, open Help in the top bar and choose Guided tour.
